With the ever changing economy, we have noticed that there has been a larger than normal request for assistance and donations for local food pantries. We decided to try to help fill that need at URS. We ran a food drive for two local food pantries and as a company, we collected over 600 items! The items were split between two local food pantries – the Newark Food Closet and the Lyons Community Food Pantry. Both were grateful for the support and the ability to help keep the shelves stocked to serve the communities. We are thankful for the generosity of our employees and their support in this effort.
